The Full Story
Vicki knew her home on Kokomo Loop had great bones—but she also knew what buyers would notice first: the darker features that made the space feel heavier than it needed to. She wanted to sell with confidence and understood staging could help, but the timing wasn’t simple. HOA issues and uncertainty around when the home would be fully ready created hesitation. Committing to staging felt like a big step when the schedule still had moving parts.
That’s where our Home Story Method™ came in—not just to furnish rooms, but to create a clear plan and a calmer path to the finish line.
Our strategy focused on changing how the home felt the moment someone walked in—lighter, cleaner, and more welcoming—without fighting the existing architecture. In short, we aimed to make the home feel brighter and more current, while still natural, so buyers could picture themselves there quickly.
The installation was handled with extra care, and the design selections stayed aligned with Vicki’s request to avoid red accents. The result was a home that photographed cleanly and showed with clarity—without feeling over-styled. This project is a great example of what happens when staging isn’t treated as an “option,” but as part of the selling strategy. By addressing the home’s darker visual weight and presenting a more buyer-friendly atmosphere, the listing entered the market looking polished, intentional, and ready—exactly how buyers want a home to feel when they’re making quick comparisons.

My first time using The Staging Company and was very pleased. The communication was perfect, on time and I know by having my listing staged, that helped the home sell for full price.
